Why would I, as a new player, decide to continue playing this game. The problem is that I dodged to avoid playing random characters, and without any CLEAR warning that this would be my punishment (Yes it said that I would receive A punishment, but there wasn't anything that I saw that would lead me to believe it would be non-time related), my is semi-permanently stuck in low prio, seemingly forever. I haven't even won three games of full-length pvp dota in my fucking life, and thats on chars I actually tried to learn. Same thing happens a third time on the third day, and I end up in low prio queue, where I'm forced to play a random character that I've never seen before multiple times in a row and win 3 games by sheer luck. 2 hours, no biggie, I do some homework and come back the next day. I play a game, but then the same thing happens (I learned that Zeus is pretty often banned, probably because he's easy to find on the list and decently strong) so I dodge again. It says 30 min requeue timer, I say okay, and come back the next day. I think anyone would prefer to sit in queue for 30 more seconds over waiting up to an hour for me to throw on a character I selected randomly. I come from league, and this is standard. I don't want to terrorize 4 randos for over an hour so I dodge the queue, the only thing that seems reasonable. I hop into a game, and I only know how to play a single character, Zeus, because I played him in new player mode. So I recently picked up the game because I wanted to learn it, since it seemed like an interesting game. Entire Post is irrelevant, read tldr in the edits below
